While the LinkedIn masses debate resumes and “ATS compatibility” and “keyword optimization” and this and that, I’m here to tell you how well-crafted documents REALLY make an impact.
When paired with an adequate job search, an amazing resume will:
✅ Allow you to project with immediate strength. When you lead with strength, opportunities become yours to lose as opposed to ones that you have to win.
✅ Steer conversations toward areas that highlight your strengths AND align with the interviewer’s needs.
✅ Encourage the interviewer to prompt stories that showcase YOU as the hero.
✅ Make the interviewer hunger for more…”Oh, you saved your company $320K last year. Walk me through that. How the heck did you accomplish that?”
If a resume writer is selling you on “ATS optimization” or “beating the bots,” save your money and just write the thing using ChatGPT.
